Matthew 24:3-28 // 2011-11-27
In Matthew 24, the disciples understand that Jesus will make a second return to the world and are eager to know when that date might be. After being questioned about signs that may signal the event, Jesus begins to prophesy about deception, wars, famine, and the “abomination of desolation”. He also reinforces His promise that, though there will be great tribulation unlike ever before, He will return to gather His chosen ones from all over the world. Like the disciples, we have been blessed by this important information and should be encouraged to study it for several reasons: it brings us comfort, it increases our faith, and most importantly, it is the will of our Lord. Listen to this study of the fulfillment of our age which includes a discussion of Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy and be blessed, comforted, and encouraged!
